Lovers Rock ist eine von mir äußerst geschätzte Reggae-Unterart.
Lover’s Rock oder Dub?
Lovers Rock, ohne Apostroph. Rock kommt hier nicht von Rockmusik, sondern von Rockers Style, was wiederum eine schnellere Reggae-Spielart ist, die Ende der 70er en vogue war. Ich glaube, sie wurde maßgeblich von Sly & Robbie erfunden.
Der Beat erinnert an Monthy Python and the Holy Grail.
