Glasgow’s multiple BRIT and Ivor Novello-winning songwriting giants Travis return with L.A. Times, their tenth studio album. Produced by Tony Hoffer (Air, Beck, Phoenix), L.A. Times was written by Fran Healy in his studio on the edge of Skid Row, Los Angeles, the city he has called home for the last decade. He describes L.A. Times as Travis’ “most personal album since The Man Who”.

Das Album natürlich! The Imposter habe ich schon seit Jahren auf der Liste.

Der Song ist ganz lustig, finde ich. So schmissig waren die zuletzt bei „U16-Girls“. Ich hab neulich die dritte Platte (Invisible Band) sehr günstig auf Vinyl (Reissue) bekommen und erstmals seit langem wieder gehört. Und dann gleich nochmal und nochmal. Travis sind bei mir offenbar etwas zu Unrecht hinten rübergefallen. Ich hab die letzten Platten nur selten aufgelegt, die hol ich jetzt mal wieder raus.
