Die Purple Rain Deluxe Edition ist schon mal ziemlich klasse, kann ich nur sagen. Einiges hatte ich in den Achtzigern bereits auf Tape, zum Beispiel eine wesentlich längere Version von „Computer Blue“. „All Day, All Night“, das eigentlich auf dem Jill Jones Debut ist, war da auch drauf.

Kann mich auch noch an (wesentlich) längere (und fertig ausgearbeitete), teils ganz andere Versionen von Computer Blue, The Beautiful Ones und anderen Songs des Albums erinnern, die seinerzeit im (tapes) Umlauf waren. „Purple Rain“, also die Melodie hatte auch mal einen ganz anderen Text, obwohl man sich da nicht sicher war, ob das wirklich von Prince kam…
Wie dem auch sei, wenn da wenigstens etwas davon den Weg zum Output findet…mehr als ein Fest das wäre…;-)--
Den nächsten RS gibt es wohl auch mit ner DVD zu kaufen.

Ich meinte aber, dass man als Abonnet vom RS ein exclusives Cover erhält…ob am Heft dranngepappt oder als Beilage…muss ich noch rausfinden:lol:

Exile on Main Street wird vollkommen überbewertetSign „O“ The Times ist natürlich ein großartiger Film, aber die DVD hat man natürlich schon. Dass ausgerechnet Little Red Corvette erwähnt wird ist auch lustig, der Track wird im Film gerade mal angespeit. Und Cover Versionen brauche ich jetzt auch nicht unbedingt.
