Paul Weller steps back into the political arena this winter, assembling a
bespoke band featuring Robert Wyatt, Danny Thompson, Steve Pilgrim and Ben
Gordelier to play the first of several UK-wide Concerts For Corbyn at
Brighton Dome on December 16.Proceeds from the concert will benefit arts-based initiatives associated
with Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn’s policy priorities, say organisers.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, October 14.Other acts on the bill include Temples, Kathryn Williams, Stealing Sheep,
The Farm, Jim Jones And The Righteous Mind, Edgar Summertyme and Ghetto

event as a “unique revue in celebration and solidarity of the progressive
policies laid out by Jeremy Corbyn and the growing grass roots movement

artists and up and coming performers.”Robert Wyatt’s involvement is another coup for the event, as the former Soft

The vinyl reissues of Paul Weller‘s first two solo albums, which SDE told you about back in August and were due to be released this Friday, are no longer happening…
In an email to fans who had pre-ordered the Paul Weller and Wild Wood vinyl reissues via their website, PledgeMusic said that “the label have put back the release of these titles indefinitely, so we are reluctantly forced to cancel the per-order”.
No reason was given for this situation. SDE has contacted Universal in the hope of some kind of explanation and will update if/when we hear something.

Oder liegts an den ausgebuchten Vinylpressen? Im Moment ist auffällig, dass viele Platten, gerade aus dem UK, nicht verfügbar sind. Da steht bei jpc z.B. dann „wird nachgepresst“. So z.B. beim Trainspotting-OST und beim aktuellen Madness-Album.

Nie mehr Zweite Liga!!!Weller spielt am 31.03. in der Royal Albert Hall beim Teenage-Cancer-Trust-Konzert.
Kombiniert mit dem Auftritt von Liam Gallagher drei Tage vorher und dem von Johnny Marr mit den Pet Shop Boys zwei danach…
