Wie willst du dein Leben sonst lenken, wenn nicht durch bewusste Entscheidungen, also Unterdrückung von Trieben und Impulsen? Mir fällt das auch manchmal schwer, vor allem wenn der Aufrauf lautet: „Von mir aus dürfen alle Veganer über mich her fallen.“
Was mich jetzt natürlich interessiert (ehrlich): Gefallen dir die Lyrics zu „I’m not a Man“ besser als die zu „Bullfighter“?
doc-f Den Rest, den Du geschrieben hast, ignoriere ich einfach. Das kann man nur totschweigen. Ich glaube, man muss nicht nur Morrisseys Aussagen ignorieren, sondern besser auch das meiste, was seine treuen Fans von sich geben.

People with no experience should find more fitting comparisons. Why should a selfish, lost for the world star be able to feel for any creature that is not him? He’s not a father (or is he?) neither are you. Not bashing him in any way for his new record, to set the record straight.

Ernsthaft? Diese Diskussion habe ich zuletzt bei McDonald’s geführt, weil eine Mutter meinte, man könne ihrem Sohn nicht verständlich machen, dass er einen Hund nicht zu provozieren habe, indem er den Hund anbellt und einen Stuhl auf ihn schiebt. Das würde er nicht verstehen, schließlich sei er ein Kind. Das könne aber nur verstehen, wer selbst Kinder hat. Klar, Ärzte können auch nur Krankheiten behandeln, die sie selbst gehabt haben. Man kann auch nur gegen Missbrauch sein, wenn man selbst missbraucht wurde…
Ich schrieb extra ganz bewusst „manch“ ein Vater. (Könnte auch eine Mutter sein.) Und ja, ich glaube, dass Morrissey ein empathischer Mensch ist. Und nein, ich glaube nicht, dass jeder, der Fleisch isst, sich nicht in andere Lebewesen hineinversetzen kann.

ianageLive ist er mittlerweile nur noch ein Schatten seiner selbst.
Die letzten Aufnahmen vermitteln einen anderen Eindruck. Smiths Songs kommen aber von Marr mittlerweile besser.
