Bitte mal Rückmeldung, wenn sie einige Durchgänge hatte. Der Vorgänger gefiel mir ja ausgezeichnet.

@onkel-tom: Sind immer noch frühe Eindrücke, die sich noch ein wenig setzen müssen, aber here we go: Andrew Bird: „My finest work yet“ gefällt mir besser. In Sternen sehr stabile **** dort zu guten ***1/2 hier. Einige feine Tracks hat das neue Album aber allemal. Liam Gallagher: Sowohl „As you were“ als auch „Why me? Why not.“ (beide ****) gefallen mir deutlich besser. Hier maximal ***1/2. Der deutliche Stilwechsel geht (bisher) nicht an mich. Avi Kaplan: Die Stimme ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Die Songs in weiten Teilen auch schön, die musikalische Umsetzung auch weitestgehend gelungen, die Produktion von Shooter Jennings ohnehin gut. Läuft auf **** hinaus.
@pipe-bowl Danke. Ich werde mir wohl alle zulegen. Und ja, die Stimme von Avi Kaplan ist phantastisch. Das ist überragend gesungen. Irgendwo (im Stone?) las ich was von Americana Messen? Ja, das kommt schon hin. Rein von der Stimmung her erinnert mich einiges an die frühen Sachen der Fleet Foxes. Könnte derzeit sogar ganz vorne in diesem Jahr liegen.

Soweit nach vorne wird es bei mir allerdings nicht gehen mit Avi Kaplan. Dennoch ein gutes Album, wie schon gesagt.

Bei mir heute. Aber das sind ja auch nur knappe 50 km vom Lager bis hierhin. Das Album lief gerade das erste Mal. Hatte vorher nicht gedacht, dass ich mich dafür nochmal interessiere. Aber das Album bzw. die ersten Eindrücke haben mich überzeugt.
