Daran habe ich keine Zweifel. Mit Ausnahme von Honky Tonk aus den JJ-Sessions setzt sich das Album wohl vollständig aus Takes der On The Corner Sessions zusammen, wenn ich das richtig überblickt habe. Die Box steht ja auch auf meiner Wunschliste, ist aber zur Zeit recht teuer.

Die Box war übrigens immer vergleichsweise teuer, und ich vermute, sie ist auch deshalb rar, weil die noch vorhandenen Bestände relativ rasch in die Trompetenkofferluxusausgabe gepackt wurden.

@redbeans: danke, klingt nicht so, als dass ich das unbedingt hören müsste! Die Escoudé ist übrigens klasse – gerade auch wegen Tom Harrell, von dem ich noch viel zu wenig habe. Das Duo zum Ausklang ist wunderschön.

jetzt ein gewagteres Projekt, auch mit Besson: Aka Moon und Gäste verjazzen die Matthäuspassion… (link)… ist auf jeden Fall gelungener als viele vergleichbare Konzeptalben aus den 60ern…
