DaniArrowIch denk er spielt einfach wenig Gitarre weil ihm die Tasteninstrumente mittlerweile halt besser gefallen. Auf der jetztigen Tour spielt er ja auch ein großes Piano, klingt bei manchen Songs echt gut. Sehe gerade dass ich doch nach Salzburg hätte fahren sollen… dann hätte ich Every Grain Of Sand und Don’t Think Twice gesehen… :roll:

Wobei ich gestehen muss, dass das kommende Dylan-Album das erste ist, das ich am Erscheinungstag hören werde. Bisher war es mir nicht sonderlich wichtig, neue Dylan LPs besonders zeitnah zum Veröffentlichungsdatum zu hören. Aber durch die beiden Gigs in Hamburg im letzten Jahr (vorher war ich bei einem Gig Mitte der 90er in Kiel dabei), ist mein Interesse noch einmal deutlich gestiegen.

Aber beim ersten Hören einiger Dylan Bootleg Series und mir vorher unbekannten Alben sowie der Dylan Mono Box bin ich so vorgegangen, wie beschrieben.

Ich habe auch erst ab „love and theft“ mit diesem persönlichen Plattenfestival begonnen. Das liegt an der späten Geburt und am Glück der guten Alben
Schön ist, dass es noch ein paar andere Leute gibt, die sich an einem neuen Album so erfreuen können bzw. die Vorfreude teilen. Darum geht`s, finde ich.
Deshalb schön dich im Forum zu finden… :lol:

DId anyone see the cable show „Accidental Fortune“ last night? I don’t recall the station that carries that series. Good stuff.

Anyway, this episode had a lady on whose father used to be the pilot for Dylan, Peter Paul and Mary, et al.

For over 40 years she has had in her possession an old (mint) sunburst Fender Strat. Her father said it was left on the plane after he flew back from the Newport Folk Festival in ’65….the year that Dylan went electric and freaked everyone out, esp. Pete Seeger. lol

At any rate, inside the case there were also some lyric worksheets, etc. She contacted the producers of the series and they took up the challenge to see if they could prove if that guitar was THE guitar that Dylan played that night.

Long story short they did prove that it was the guitar! Amazing.

The women had contacted Dylan’s lawyers after so many years had past. Her dad had also tried to rach Dylan to no avail. Apparently he didn’t care to retrieve the Strat. Maybe the experienc eof being booed so heartily affected him who knows.

The appraisers said that the guitar alone would most likely bring close to $500K at auction. And the lyric work sheets (in his handwriting and his typed words too) would fetch around $20-30K. Amazing.

By the way, the guitar was spotless. Mint as could be. Made in 1964.

Early Roman Kings ist als erste Single genannt worden, kommt schon am 07.08. auf amazon mp3 raus! Bin ja mal gespannt, laut ersten Vorberichten von einem der’s schon gehört hat geht’s eher so in die ruhige Richtung bzw. diese Rock’n’Roll Schemen die Modern Times geprägt haben sind nicht mehr so stark vorhanden. Als Vergleich wurden eher „Red River Shore“ und Songs in der Art genannt.
