Am 5. Juni (und am 3. Juli – jeweils am 1. Freitag des Monats) ist wieder Bandcamp Day, alle Einnahmen gehen direkt an die Musiker*innen bzw. Label:
We recognize that plenty of music fans are also seeing their livelihoods disrupted by this virus, but if you’re lucky enough to be in a position to spare some funds (or find yourself in that position in the coming months), please consider sharing your good fortune by buying music and merchandise directly from artists on Bandcamp. On June 5 and July 3, Bandcamp’s share of sales will also go to the artists and labels you choose to support, and as always, it will reach them in 24-48 hours.
If you already have all the music and merchandise you want from your favorite artists, consider discovering new favorites via our editorial publication, Bandcamp Daily — our best-of’s are a great place to start. Bandcamp Discover is another solid way to find new favorites, and browse our inventory of over 800,000 unique physical items, including vinyl, cassettes, and more. You can also send your favorite music and merch to a friend (there’s a “send as gift” option below every item on an album page and in your collection), or give them a Bandcamp gift card and let them make their own selections.
Finally, most of the items on Bandcamp have an option to pay more than the asking price, and leave a note for the artist. A tip and words of support are always appreciated, but especially so now.

Vielleicht auch für dich relevant, @.gypsy-tail-wind?Danke, aber heute nicht … als langjähriger Fan des Labels bin ich recht gut ausgestattet und hab vor zwei Monaten nochmal ein paar Sachen bestellt, als auch Bandcamp-Tag war.
Heute gab es „Kampen“ Complete, Vols. 1/2 (DL) von Frode Gjerstad, eine Auswahl davon gab es ja bei NoBusiness auf LP und die ist hervorragend), den raren Mitschnitt vom Boillat Thérace Quintet von WRWTFWW, „Live 1974“ (auch hier nur DL, die limitierte LP ist längst vergriffen, obwohl sie erst heute erscheint – ich hatte mich aber angesichts des Preises bewussst dagegen entschieden – die beiden neue aufgelegten Alben kamen vor ein paar Tagen und gefallen mir gut, aber das ist wohl v.a. was für Schweizer
), und dann noch die neue Solo-CD der Geigerin Aisha Orazbayeva, „Music for Violin Alone“.Meine US-Bestellungen vom 1. Mai sind immer noch nicht alle da (eine von ESP fehlt noch, und die Crew von Dave Douglas vergass eine CD … die gingen am 8. April raus und kamen vor ca. 2 Wochen an, ich warte jetzt wohl bis in den Herbst auf die hoffentlich noch nachgeschickte fehlende CD … also heute keine US-Bestellungen mehr

Bandcamp ist eine gute Sache. Insbesondere, dass man den Preis wählen und erhöhen kann, macht Sinn.
Die Suchfunktion hingegen ist desaströs. Manchmal findet man etwas nicht und denkt danach, es sei nicht vorhanden.
