jwKeith, are you aware that you can still get access to the old PWLA via this link: http://web.archive.org/web/20060923012722/http://members.lycos.co.uk/pwla/

Hi JW,

Yes, I am aware. Years ago when it was active, I did contribute to it, especially for the Weller solo dates, venues and sets here in the States. I was in touch with Karl, who ran it, a few months back and he still has the entire site on backup and hopes to one day bring it back. He was kind enough to send me all the old Style Council graphics that were there for my records. :)

The problem with the old PWLA is that it didn’t list some names of venues (I’ve researched and gotten nearly all of them) and didn’t have some concerts listed that were played. Some dates were also wrong. Right now, I have the most complete and accurate list that there is – and it is unpublished. I have given it to Iain Munn a few weeks back, so in time it’ll be in a new version of Mr. Cools Dream I’d imagine.

I don’t know how to upload something off my hard drive into my message but I have a flier or ticket from a gig where there’s no where that I know it has been published about. It has been validated by Steve White as having taken place, too. It was a benefit gig for the miners. It happened on 1985 – February 18 – Teatro Tenda, Bologna, Italy. Benefit (Miners).

All the best!
Keith
