„Memoir“ (die „The Waves“-B-Seite) klingt ein bisschen, als hätte Conor O’Brien Radiohead gehört, oder? Seine Stimme klingt nicht danach, es ist eher die Stimmung.
Die drei neuen Songs gefallen mir noch deutlich besser als alles bisher Veröffentlichte – dabei waren „Becoming a Jackal“ und „In Towers and Clouds“ ja schon toll. Klingt jetzt alles noch besser durchdacht. Und der Sound dürfte transparenter sein.
