Gerade in Ruhe nachgeschaut … ich habe ja doch eine Einspielung des ganzen „Don Carlos“ und zwar die von Santini, 1961 mit Flaviano Labò in der Titelrolle sowie Cossotto, Bastianini, Christoff und Vinco. Scheint eine sogar eine der besseren zu sein. Die spätere von Karajan (in vier Akten natürlich) klingt auch toll, mit Carreras, Freni, Cappuccilli, Baltsa, Ghiaurov, Raimondi – die muss wohl noch her!
