Neben den Studio-Alben ist allerdings einiges an Live-Material vorhanden (It Club ist am besten, denke ich, Tokyo auch toll, Jazz Workshop, dann das essentielle, nie anständig auf CD vorgelegte „Big Band and Quartet in Concert“ etc.), dazu auch ein Solo-Album, das um diverse einzelne Tracks (von den obigen sechs Alben, von Konzerten, dazu ein paar Outtakes etc) in die grossartige Doppel-CD „Monk Alone“ Eingang fand …
Allerdings würde ich unbedingt erst Blue Note und Riverside hören.
