Von Guaraldi? Ein Leichtgewicht … ich habe von ihm als Leader „Cast Your Fate to the Wind: Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus“ und „A Boy Named Charlie Brown“ (das Weihnachtsalbum habe ich nicht), sowie einen Twofer mit Bola Sete, „Vince & Bola“ (enthält „Vince Guaraldi/Bola Sete and Friends“ und „Live at El Matador“).
Als Sideman taucht Guaraldi öfter auf, u.a. auf fdem tollen Cal Tjader-Twofer „Black Orchid“ („Cal Tjader Goes Latin“ + „Cal Tjader Quintet“, Guaraldi nur auf ersterem) und auf Tjaders „Latin Concert“ und dem tollen Tjader/Getz-Album (alle bei Fantasy). Jazziger geht’s auf „Conte Cadoli Quartet“ (Mode/VSOP) zu und her.
