Dizzy Atmosphere und Unforgettable Lee liste ich mal nicht, das sind ja ursprünglich keine Mogie-Veröffentlichungen.
Für mich wohl einer der konsistentesten Hardbopper überhaupt und ein unglaublich toller, persönlicher Trompeter. Schade, dass seine so kurze wie intensive Karriere ein solch trauriges Ende nahm, zumal die letzten Aufnahmen (live vom Lighthouse und im Studio – auf der CD ist das Solo der „singing saw“ übrigens rausgemischt worden) nochmal sehr vielversprechend waren und stilistisch einige Neuerungen ankündigten.
