KrautathausBtw, Willard Robison war schwer krank und hatte „Don’t smoke in bed“ noch nicht zu Ende geschrieben. Da sprangen Peggy Lee und David Barbour ein, vollendeten das Stück und ließen die Autorenrechte ausschließlich bei Robison, damit im Falle des Ablebens seine Tochter die Einnahmen bekommt.
Oh, das wusste ich nicht! Robison starb allerdings erst 1968, zwanzig Jahre nachdem Peggy Lee mit „Don’t Smoke in Bed“ einen Hit landete!?
Ganz grossartig ist Jack Teagardens Album mit Robison-Songs, Think Well of Me von 1962.
