Das „Original Album Series“ Set von Ellington ist bei Amazon derzeit billig zu haben. Es enthält etwa die Hälfte der Reprise-Aufnahmen. Die Zeit bei Reprise ist wohl die erste Phase des Spätwerkes, aber für Ellington Fans gibt’s auch dort viele wunderbare Dinge zu hören. Für Neueinsteiger würd ich das allerdings nicht empfehlen.
