Elemental will present in June 2015 the resurrection of one of the great jazz record labels of the 1970s through their new collection “Treasures of Xanadu,” a new series of reissues of landmark albums from the vaults of Xanadu Records. Producers Zev Feldman and Jordi Soley have selected 25 of the best albums from Xanadu’s catalogue in consultation with label founder Don Schlitten, many of which have never before been released on CD.
On the reissue side , Elemental signed an agreement in March 2013 for reissuing and distributing 16 Blue Note titles on vinyl format. During the same year started a collection of Progressive Rock gems licensed by Parlophone Records in the UK . The company is currently working on different projects that will bring back to light out of print back catalogue classics, always focused on the collector market.

Xanadu hat ein paar sehr schöne Sachen im Katalog, vieles davon ist kaum zu finden … hoffe z.B., dass ich meine CD-R von Sonny Criss‘ wunderbarem „Saturday Morning“ ersetzen kann … Percy Heaths Xanadu-Album „Picture of Heath“ ist ebenfalls spitze, etwas Al Cohn, Barry Harris, Sam Noto oder Billy Mitchell wäre auch nicht falsch!
