Mosaic hat soeben – ganz ohne Vorankündigung – ein neues 4LP-Set mit den vier EmArcy-Alben des Clifford Brown/Max Roach Quintet aufgelegt.
Die vier 180g-LPs kosten 100$ (plus Versand), die Auflage beträgt 2500 Stück.
Obwohl ich die alte Brownie 10CD-Box besitze (mit einigen Alternate Takes und natürlich all dem Material, das davor schon auf der CD More Study in Brown vorlag – die habe ich längst weggegeben), sieht diese Box interessant aus.
Soweit man auf Org erfährt, verwendet Mosaic seit längerem nur noch analoge Wege, um zum Ziel zu gelangen, die Box sollte daher wirklich eine feine Sache sein.
Besonders empfehlen will ich sie unserem lieben Jazz-Neuling und Vinyl-Fan clau
