Pullen gefällt mir sehr, ja – mit Mingus, mit dem Adams/Pullen Quartett, Solo oder im Trio… systematisch hab ich mich allerdings auch noch nie an sein Werk herangemacht. Es gibt tonnenweise Bootlegs, grad von der Pullen/Adams-Band… das wär eine grössere Sache, die mal alle auszusortieren und anzuhören!
Die drei Adams/Pullen (mit Cameron Brown und Dannie Richmond) und die beiden Adams/Richmond Soulnotes (mit Jimmy Knepper, Hugh Lawson und Mike Richmond) würden auch eine schöne Box ergeben!
