21.9.06: Boz Burrell ( Bassist King Crimson; Bad Company )
Boz Burrell (b. Raymond Burrell on 1 August 1946, in Lincoln, England; d. 21 September 2006 in Spain) was a bass guitarist known for his involvement in bands such as King Crimson and Bad Company.
He was brought into King Crimson as a vocalist and, as the band needed a bassist, was rapidly taught bass by guitarist Robert Fripp and became expert at it just as quick . He later joined Bad Company in 1973 to play bass, where he found international fame and fortune touring with them into the 90s. In recent years, he had been working with Tam White.
