Popmuseum… Manches Erwähnte ist definitiv falsch bzw. missverständlich (z.B.: Almond habe das Sax-Solo auf Joels „New York State of Mind“ gespielt, ja auf Mark/Almonds „To the Heart“ und möglicherweise als Mitglied jener Studioband, welche die erste Aufnahme von Joels Album „Turnstiles“ eingespielt hat, die aber von Joel verworfen wurde* – aber sicher nicht auf dem von Joel 1976 veröffentlichtem Album** ….
Billboard hat am 22. Februar 1975 berichtet, dass Johnny Almond mit Billy Joel tourt, wo er am Saxofon und an den Keyboards zu hören war.
