Ja, alles sind Grenzfälle… aber Miles hat sich schon Gedanken gemacht und würde sich wohl heute noch im Grabe umdrehen, wenn man seine Musik mit Free Jazz in Verbindung bringen würde 
Der Frage nach dem Grund der Frage schliesse ich mich übrigens an, Fef!
Was Carter/Williams und Izenzon/Moffett betrifft… ich weiss nicht, wen ich spannender finde – vermutlich auch eher Carter/Williams. Williams war damals wohl eh der spannendste Drummer, zumal seit Elvin Jones nicht mehr bei Coltrane war.
Aber da sind auch noch Sunny Murray, Milford Graves, Barry Altschul und besonders Andrew Cyrille!
