Die Gefahr, dass für mich besondere Stücke durch ein Cover „entweiht“ werden, besteht immer. Ob Olli P nun Flugzeuge nachsingt oder Hansi M. bei DSDS Imagine. Egal wer, was covert: Der Respekt vor dem Original muss einfach spürbar sein.
Bestes Beispiel war das Gitarren-Vorspiel meines Sohns vor zwei Wochen. Die Kids sind so aufgegangen in Ihren ACDC, Led Zepplin, Michel Jackson und Red Hot Chilli Pepper Covern. Musikalisch war das natürlich alles andere als professionell, aber das was dahinter steht, ihre Begeisterung, ist aufs Puplikum übergesprungen. Man könnte fast sagen, es war ein richtig cooler Gig.:sonne:
