Zusammenfassung der mir bekannten Werke eines der größten Sänger aller Zeiten, der spielerisch vier Oktaven singen konnte und tragisch 1997 starb. Die Rezeption von Billy MacKenzie ist noch lange nicht abgeschlossen und ich hoffe sehr, dass posthum möglichst viele Menschen ihn für sich gewinnen können. Die Stimme schwebt immer etwas zwischen Schönheit und Melancholie im Hier und Jenseitigen, ist nicht zu fassen und steht in der Tradition der Crooner Größen.
