vorgartennicht direkt. das ist von der zweiten transition-session (1.12.1956), auf dem JAZZ BY SUN RA VOL.2 entstehen sollte, aber das label ging leider vorher pleite. das material landete auf insgesamt 3 lps, zwei auf saturn und dieses eben 1968 erst auf delmark. es könnte aber auch sein, dass du die cd von 1994 hast (auch delmark, gleiches cover), die alle tracks dieser session vereint. es ist die besetzung mit art hoyle (tp), charles davis als zweitem baritonsaxophonisten und jim herndon an der kesselpauke; marshall allen und ronnie boykins waren noch nicht dabei.
Es ist diese bzw. diese Ausgabe, die ich zugegeben nur in Form von bits und bytes höre. Die beiden Bonus Vocal Tracks mit einem Clyde Williams sind etwas unpassend. CW wird dann ja auch nicht mal in den credits erwähnt. Aber sonst ist die Platte toll!
