Ja, „Meditations“ unbedingt … vielleicht mein liebstes unter den freien Alben Coltranes (obwohl „Sun Ship“ höre ich sicher drei, viermal so oft). Ich wollte Irrlicht bloss nicht völlig überfordern … „Live at the Village Vanguard Again“ wäre auch noch zu empfehlen, und natürlich „Ascension“. Und auch das Duo mit Rashied Ali, „Interstellar Space“. Aber zum Einstieg würde ich von denen höchstens „Sun Ship“ oder „First Meditations“ empfehlen.
