Da ich momentan wieder ziemlich viel 70’s/80’s US Punk/HC höre, habe ich mal ein Ranking meiner liebsten US Punkplatten erstellt.
Berücksichtigt habe ich alle Platten die ich besitze aus den 70ern/80ern, alles Protopunk Zeugs (Stooges, New York Dolls, Dictators, etc. ) habe ich mit Absicht nicht in die Liste eingenommen, also alles Platten ab 1977. Und Compilations habe ich ebenfalls nicht berücksichtigt (einzige Ausnahme: die beiden Minor Threat EP’s = eine LP). Ob Pere Ubu, Television oder Devo Punk sind weiss nicht, ist mir eigentlich auch egal, in der Liste sind sie auf alle Fälle drin. Hingegen Sonic Youth, Swans und ähnliches nicht.
