Het zevende deel in de serie, na o.a. Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughan, J.J. Johnson en Gerry Mulligan, presenteert het Miles Davis-kwintet van 1960 in het Concertgebouw. In april 1960 kwam Miles Davis met John Coltrane, wat een enorme controverse veroorzaakte. In oktober 1960 kwam hij nogmaals, nu met Sonny Stitt. Beide concerten, met Miles Davis in absolute topvorm (evenals de befaamde ritmesectie Wynton Kelly/Paul Chambers/Jimmy Cobb), zijn nu voor het eerst te horen op de dubbel-cd „Miles Davis: So What – The Complete 1960 Amsterdam Concerts“.

Scheint mit Versand irgendwas unter 30€ zu kosten, was sehr okay ist.
Das Muziekzentrum Nederland, das die CD herausgegeben hat, existiert seit Ende 2012 allerdings nicht mehr, aber da das eine Miles-CD ist, denke ich schon, dass man sie noch eine Weile kriegen wird.
