Das Album enthält insgesamt 36 Songs von Dylan, Cash und Co., darunter auch einige unveröffentlichte, so z. B. eine nie gehörte unbekannte Fassung des Klassikers »If Not For You« von Bob Dylan. »Dylan, Cash, and the Nashville Cats: A Music City« setzt all diesen Musikern endlich das Denkmal, das sie schon lange verdienen.
