bullschuetzMöglicherweise. Viel spricht dafür, dass es sich bei dem fiesen Meinungshoheitsregenten und Toureinschätzungsmanipulator, der da am Werke war, um seine königliche Bobheit persönlich handelte. Denn der bilanzierte die Tour so:
I think I was just playing a role on that tour. I was playing Bob Dylan and The Band was playing The Band. It was all sort of mindless. The people that came out to see us came mostly to see what they missed the first time around. We were cleaning up but it was an emotionless trip. It was just a big show, a big circus. What people saw wasn’t really what they would have seen in 66 or 65. If they had seen that, that was much more demanding.
Ich weiss – aber man nimmt ja sonst die Bobheit auch nicht immer so wörtlich, oder?
Klar hat die Tour nicht den Biss der 66er Konzerte (aber mal ehrlich: gibt’s da überhaupt vergleichbares?) und ist nich so ausufernd kreativ wie die erste Rolling Thunder Revue… aber mir gefallen die 1974er Konzerte sehr!
