I’ve been in touch with Matthias. He told me about a previously unknown concert TSC did in Wien. He linked me to a picture someone took at the gig and had it up on their website. The photographer also listed the venue – so all I did was contact him, ask for a date and he was able to provide that. Matthias also provided me with the venue for the gig in Linz (published in MCD as „Lindt“). I emailed the venue, and they were able to provide me with a link on their site with the date. Unfortunately, Matthias has been unable to help me with Innsbruck. I have a suspicion they played at Hafen (http://www.hafen.cc), but repeated emails to them have gone unanswered. Paul Weller has played solo there in the past.
I’ve also been in touch with Karsten Jahnke, whom I’m sure you’re aware of. He did know off the top of his head how many tours he’s done for The Style Council, but doesn’t remember specifics. It was also before the time that they were computerized, so he said all the records, if there are any, would be stored away in a cellar. He said if he ever came across anything, he’d let me know. I think they played at Theaterhaus in Stuttgart, but repeated emails to them have gone unanswered. I think it either took place on October 12th or 14th in 1985. The Innsbruck gig took place in 1984. (http://www.theaterhaus.de/). Paul Weller has also played solo at the Theaterhas in the past.
Even if you could provide me the main newspapers or magazines that the concerts would have been promoted and advertised in, I would then be able to go through them and see the venues and dates that way. Anything you could find out, I would greatly appreciate and be very thankful for.

Kann jemand mit Informationen zu den im früheren Posting genannten Konzerten helfen oder die hier genannten Infos bestätigen?
Im Musik Express 12/1985 habe ich eine Konzertkritik vom Gig im Mamburg, Musikhalle, gefunden. Darin heißt es am Anfang:
„Klar, daß im Parkett gespannte Erwartung herrschte: Viele hatten 1983 miterlebt, wie Paules Soul-Konzil sein Debüt CAFÉ BLEU mit unbeholfenem Charme auf die Bühne der Discothek Trinity brachte.“
