„paul and andy (Lewis) have written a song together in a classic soul style.
they recorded it at paul’s studio and featured many of his regular
band mates.
the track was originally recorded for andy’s second album, called „You
Should Be Hearing Something Now…“ but they were both so pleased with
the end result that it has been chosen as the first single for andy’s
forthcoming album. It is scheduled for release in early september
the song will be released on a limited 7 inch vinyl 45, a twelve inch
ep, a cds ep and on download. the label is Acid Jazz which is a kind
of homecoming for paul.
he first recorded for acid jazz on the legendary KING TRUMAN single in
1988 (jazid 9T). the record was pulled on the day of release by
Polydor and only sold 150 copies with fifty demos getting sent out.
it is possibly paul’s rarest single.
the catalogue number is ACID JAZZ AJX 193 – cd ep – ltd 7″ – 12″ ep
and download. watch this space for further information
