Just one other thing before I sign off, last year on tour in the states with Weller, I was rooting through some record shops as you do looking for rare vinyl and found a bootleg of an old Jam demo, I was blown away by a track on there called „Left Right and Centre“ I mentioned it to the great D.J.Russ Winstanley and he suggested getting Dean Parish to do a version. At the same time I had a call from Eddie Pillar from Acid Jazz saying he had the sameidea. Happy daze. Its been done and sounds terrific. To have a song that Paul wrote at 15 sung by the man who sang „I’m on my way“ is TOP! Paul said he wrote it in his Otis Redding phase but it sounds like he’s copying Paul copying Otis.

Also written a tune with Paul called ‚Small Personal Fortune‘ NICE.
Thats enough for now. Please keep me posted with your thoughts, they are deeply valued!

WORD!
Steve
