Jeff Lynne und Rossif Sutherland
Schon lange gab es ja Gerüchte, dass Jeff verstärkt auch wieder andere (auch unbekannte Künstler) produziert. Letztes Jahr kam das Tom Petty-Album, und dieses Jahr womöglich noch ein Album von Rossif Sutherland, Sohn von Donald Sutherland und in erster Linie Schauspieler,mit drei von Jeff Lynne produzierten Songs. Auf seiner My Space-Seite kann man sich These Words anhören, dass unverkennbar eine Lynne-Produktion ist, aber für mich auch deutlich macht, dass der Stil des Künstlers im Vordergrund steht. Natürlich werden sie wieder schreiben, dass Sutherland nach ELO klingt … und darüber kann ich dann nur schmunzeln.

singing and composing the simple foundation of
