Paul Weller releases a 7“ only, coloured vinyl single on March 14th.
The double A-side single features „Early Morning Rain“ – a cover of Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot’s classic which also features on Paul’s recent album of cover versions „Studio 150“.
Sitting side by side with „Early Morning Rain“ is the version of The Beatles „Come Together“, the track Paul Weller recorded for UK’s Radio Aid Day, where all commercial stations – including the likes of Classic FM, Virgin and Capital – gave up their airwaves for a day of raising money for the Tsunami Disaster Fund.* Come Together, quickly became the theme of the day, played so often that, on the day it, went straight in at no.1 on the national airplay chart.**
Paul will be giving all his royalties on sales of this single to the Tsunami Appeal.
Paul Weller is currently on the final leg of*a sold out tour of the UK.“
