Bei der Single muß man sich wohl ranhalten…

Paul Weller – The Bottle

Paul Weller releases the first single to be taken from his hotly
anticipated album of cover versions.

The first taster from the album is a version of Jazz legend Gil Scott
Heron's „The Bottle“. „The Bottle“ is one of three tracks on a
limited edition covers EP which features 2 exclusive tracks which
will not appear on the new album.

The additional covers on the EP are „Corrina Corrina“ which is
influenced by the Taj Mahal version, while the final track is a
reworking of the Lovin' Spoonful's „Coconut Grove“

All tracks were produced by Jan „Stan“ Kybert and Paul Weller for
Solid Bond Productions.

The EP is released on CD and 2 7″. All formats feature all 3 tracks.
However, second 7″ is a dinked copy, featuring a Big Boss Man remix
of „The Bottle“ instead of the other version. The CD's are a limited
edition run of 5000 – all numbered. 7″1 is limited edition of 2500
(numbered) and 7″2 is a limited edition of 1500.
