Wanting to take a break from songwriting for a while, Paul Weller tells Billboard.com that his next album will be a covers set featuring songs by Tim Hardin and Sister Sledge. The disc, he says, will be dubbed „Forty Days and Forty Nights“ after the Muddy Waters song.
The former Jam/Style Council frontman has already recorded a few songs in Amsterdam; he is to continue working on the set through the fall and winter.
