Good news (?) from Paul:
Firstly, just a note of thanks to everyone who came to the US shows which
were just amazing. On behalf of the group and myself – Thanks You. Sorry
about the dates we had to cancel but the tickets just weren’t happening,
it’s a drag I know for everyone but we’re already losing a fortune on the
tour. Hoepfully it won’t be another six years before I return. – PWAlso – Just to let you know I have parted company with Independiente
Records, they decided not to take up the next option so I am free (but not
cheap) once again! I’m not upset/angry about it at all, it’s time to move on
for me anyway. I’ve been with Go!/Independiente for over 10 years, had good
tunes and sold lots of records, but the state of play at record companies
these days is that if you don’t sell fucking millions it’s deemed a failure.
Anyhow Andy McDonald the big chief there is a good fella and I wish him
well. In the meantime we are in discussion with various other labels.regards
