Lustig, würde die 76er hinter Excitable Boy, Sentimental Hygiene und The Wind einordnen (wobei ich die Sachen zwischen Transverse City und The Wind noch nicht kenne). :rolleyes:

Die dazwischen braucht man auch nicht unbedingt. Zevon hat IMO nie mehr bessere Songs geschrieben als Desperado under the Eaves, Hasten down the Wind, The French Inhaler, Carmelita, auch auf Excitable Boy nicht. Deshalb ist die 76er mein Favorit.

Die A-Seite ist wirklich phänomenal. Dass sich Kid Rock derart schamlos bei „Werewolves“ bedient hat und niemand im Radio je darauf hinweist (ich entschuldige mich bei allen, die doch darauf hingewiesen haben, aber ich habe dieses „All Summer Long“ schon zigmal unfreiwillig gehört, und bei keiner einzigen Gelegenheit wurde Warren Zevon erwähnt, Lynyrd Skynyrd immerhin ein paarmal), ärgert mich ziemlich. Insgesamt bekommt das Album von mir ****1/2, weil die Songs nicht durchgängig glänzen.--
