Vielleicht noch zu erwähnen: Es wird ein langes Album. Vier Stücke, drei CDs. Klingt jetzt schon konkurrenzlos nach Album des Jahres.
„We feel Disquiet really showcases the full range of areas we are into as an ensemble right now – from the densely convoluted, mesmerising multiple polyrhythmic ensembles of Ghost Net (74:00) to the real-time-trio-improv-with-judicious-overdubs model of Rapid Eye Movement (57:07) – the approach we employed on our double LPs Travel and Unfold. Then there’s the lapping-water cadences and found sounds of Warm Running Sunlight (32:15), and the kaleidoscopic Causeway (26:06), utilising the recording studio „instrument“ to maximum effect.
