This Sunday was such a special day for me. My good old friend Jim Keltner (drums), with whom I’ve shared so many recording sessions, is currently on tour in Europe with Bob Dylan. Jim called me; Bob had a day off in Stuttgart, so Jim decided to come and see me here in Bavaria’s Tutzing. (I’m not going to list all the records we’ve played together, but I could if you want me to.) I was overjoyed at the idea of getting the chance to see my old buddy. I asked my daughter Ruscha Voormann to help me that day. She made the most beautiful spread of food for us, filmed everything, and took photos. There they were: Jim Keltner, bass player and Dylan-bandleader Tony Garnier and Don Antonio Diario with his wife Stefania. They drove all the way from Stuttgart to Munich just to see good old Klaus. Oh, what a wonderful day that was! https://www.instagram.com/p/DBgsdx0sYzI/?hl=de

Beautiful!
