Chicago Underground Duo – Synesthesia (2000)
Klingt dichter, als man von einem Duo erwarten würde, denn Rob Mazurek (cornet, electronics, „other“), Chad Taylor (percussion, vibraphone) + ein paar Gäste rühren da schon einiges zusammen. Auch hier Zutaten verschiedenster Herkunft und bislang unerprobter Kombinationen mit offenem Ausgang. Electronic, Jazz, Ambient, Krach, teils umherwabernd aber irgendwann doch eine Form annehmend, teils groovy, teils chaotisch, teils zart schwebend und athmosphärisch. Lose Enden überall. Bleibt spannend.
