1. Alleine schon wegen der tollen Polyrhythmik *****; und wegen des scheinbar Unaufgeräumten, wo dennoch alles an seinem Platz ist. Tolle Hooks, tolle Breaks. Der Gesang von Jamison Murphy und Austyn Wohlers ist eher nach hinten gemischt oder geht einfach unter, obwohl er trotzdem präsent ist; daher muss man schon sehr auf die Lyrics achten, um sie zu verstehen. Sonst erreichen sie einen eher fetzenweise. Auch OK. PsychIndie/Pop stand irgendwo. Passt.
Mit dem dagegen astrein aufgeräumten The Past Is Still Alive von Hurray for the Riff Raff kann ich auch viel anfangen. Muss und möchte ich noch öfter hören.
