Ein halbes Wiedersehen nur hier – die zweite Hälfte des Albums, „Catfish Row“, eine symphonische Suite mit Musik aus „Porgy and Bess“, muss ohne Alexis Weissenberg auskommen, daher fehlt sie in dessen Icon-Box … sein Spiel hat natürlich die nötige rhythmsiche Präzision, um die „Rhapsody“ zum Fliegen zu bringen, beim Orchester bin ich mir nicht immer so sicher – es sind hier die Berliner Philharmoniker, bei denen Ozawa auch öfter mal gastierte, Karl Leister spielt die Solo-Klarinette in den „Variations on ‚I Got Rhythm'“, Elaine Donohoe das Klavier in „Catfish Row“.
