Vor 75 Jahren legte die „Empire Windrush“ am Doch in Essex an, an Bord mehr als 800 Menschen aus der Karibik, die dem Arbeitskräftemangel im Nachkriegsengland entgegenwirken sollten. Im Gepäck brachten sie auch Jazz, Blues und vor allem Calypso mit.
