So wie ich das aus dem Buch von Miller erinnere, sprang Nichols mit solchen Bands ein, wenn die mal einen Pianisten benötigten … aber ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich das Buch gelesen habe, müsste mal drin blättern. Er war wohl nicht an den Elite-Colleges in Boston sondern der Columbia University oder so – aber auch das müsste ich nachgucken.
