lotterlottaAus ca. 300 ECM Alben 111 Beste heraus zu filtern war schon schwer genug, wären es noch mehr Jarrett Alben in meinen Regalen und Schränken als es eh schon sind, kämen hier wohl noch mehr in diese Liste……die Alben bis Platz 80 kamen relativ spontan in die Liste, nur die Reihenfolge war nicht so ganz klar, ist es auch jetzt immer noch nicht, das ist qualitativ alles so eng beieinander und ganz oft auch von der eigenen Stimmung abhängig……..es ist das Label von dem ich die meisten Scheiben habe und es wären sicher noch mehr, wenn mehr Vinyl auf ECM veröffentlicht würde und die alten Raritäten in dem Format und in akzeptablem Zustand nicht so schweineteuer wären……so far , work in progress: 1. …um es überhaupt einigermaßen stimmig für mich zu ranken, musste ich einige Scheiben bei den Sternen abwerten, ein Album verlor seinen ***** und stürzte dadurch weit ab, weil es im Vergleich mit den anderen ****1/2+ Alben tatsächlich das schwächste ist…bei manchem Neuzugang ist die Wertung noch nicht völlig gesichert, hier sind sowohl Abstürze als auch Aufstiege denkbar da sie alle nur ein paar mal gehört wurden(lucus, bayou, extensions, overpass, love.love, subaqueous silence, a cosmic rhythm with each stroke….) aber auch nicht in der Liste auftauchende Scheiben wie Iyers „Break Stuff“ haben noch das Zeug höher in meiner Gunst zu steigen, manches braucht halt mehr Zeit um zu wachsen. Wenn ich es schaff, werde ich noch 10 der mich am meisten ansprechenden Cover einstellen…..
