Oh, one more bit of info. I’ve not gotten any indication of how many of the black vinyl versions were pressed, either. The numbers I’ve read online are between 1,200 – 1,400. Where that number originates from in terms of sourcing and how accurate it is, again, I’ve got no idea.
Also – ALL copies were pressed at Third Man’s only record manufacturing facility, which is in Detroit, Michigan, USA and about 5 minutes away from Motown itself.
