Im Lauf des Jahres 1956 dann von Decca auch landesweit veröffentlicht. „I woke up this mornin‘ ‚bout a quarter to six I found myself in a terrible fix My baby was gone and my Cadillac too Now, won’t you tell me what I’m gonna do?“ Nun, der Sänger hat offensichtlich ein Problem. „Well, I’m a-lookin‘ high and I’m lookin‘ low Where in the world did that woman go? I gotta find my baby and bring her back ‚Cause she ran off with my Cadillac“ Über seine Präferenzen läßt er jedoch erst gar keine Zweifel aufkommen. „I really thought that she was true to me But then she left me all the misery I really need her and I want her back But if I had my choice, I’d take the Cadillac“ Großartig!
